Kim Wilkins

I am Associate Professor in Media Aesthetics and Head of Screen Cultures at the University of Oslo, where I also co-direct the Media Aesthetics Research Group. My areas of expertise are film and television studies.

My current research examines contemporary film and television and the aesthetics of gentrification. I also work on contemporary American cinema and television. I am the Book Q&A section co-editor for Mediapolis: A Journal of Cities and Culture.
